Publicising The CAB

Knowing what the Bureau does and where help can be found is vital to the local communities we serve.   This means constantly reviewing the publicity material we use and ensuring that it goes to the places where it needs to be seen.   It also means planning and promoting displays in shops and schools in order to raise the profile of the work we do for clients.

Articles for the local press are also very important as they can both highlight what can be achieved as well as alert people to potential problems and issues of a wider interest.

Whilst we are not a campaigning organisation in the political sense it is important that we make public many of the inequalities we see and help people to avoid the pitfalls which can so easily lead to problems in the future.

So if you see yourself as a potential volunteer press and/or public relations officer, the Cheltenham, Cirencester & Tewkesbury CAB would love to hear from you.
